Carmella took her running tally of time spent with the Money In The Bank briefcase past the seven-month mark on January 27.

It was June when she climbed the ladder to win the briefcase - containing the binding contract for a title match at the moment of her choosing - in a rematch after the initial contest was controversially won, also in her favour, by James Ellsworth.

Summer has turned to autumn and autumn to winter in the time the Princess of Staten Island has held the briefcase, carrying it from continent to continent and biding her time for the right moment to strike.

But those long days appeared to be at an end on Tuesday night when she spied a fallen Charlotte Flair in the SmackDown ring, the champion left grounded and pounded by the nefarious Riott Squad.

With match official in tow and briefcase under arm, Carmella sprinted to the ring, pausing only briefly to hold her snapback in place, her eyes very much on the championship prize.
