In one of the biggest shocks in recent Raw memory, Dolph Ziggler beat Seth Rollins to become the Intercontinental champion.
Rollins, as part of his promotion as a "fighting champion" was willing to take on a title match despite not being 100 per cent fit after a tough contest against Elias at Money In The Bank.
It turned out to be a bad option, as Ziggler picked up a victory with a roll-up to win the belt for a sixth time in front of a shocked crowd.
Things got even worse for Rollins, too, with Ziggler and his tag-team partner Drew McIntyre launching a post-match assault to leave him down and out.
Extreme Rules main event set?
Kurt Angle confirmed the main event at Extreme Rules will be a multi-man match to establish the number one contender for Brock Lesnar's Universal title.
The announcement brought both Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley to the ring, with both men claiming they should be given the match against Lesnar.
That led to Reigns and Lashley being forced into a tag team to face The Revival together, with the latter picking up the win with a spear after blind-tagging in.
Banks and Bayley: Friendship over?
Is the long-running friendship between Sasha Banks and Bayley finally over? It certainly appeared that way on Raw last night after a backstage brawl between the two.
They lost a tag-team match to Riott Squad pair Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan after several moments of miscommunication, and although Bayley tried to repair the damage, things turned physical in the form of a locker room brawl.
The Hugger again tried to make up with Banks as she left in her car, but was given the silent treatment.
