After suffering another loss to The Riott Squad, Bayley unloads on her former best friend.

Bayley's frustrations with her long-term friend Sasha Banks exploded in the form of a vicious attack on Raw this week.

Having watched as The Boss was rolled up by Ruby Riott to hand her and the third member of their team, Ember Moon, a loss to the Riott Squad, Bayley decided she had seen enough.

What followed was the clearest display of ruthless aggression from 'the Hugger' since she was called up to the main roster two years ago.

It was the kind of intensity which has been sadly missing from Bayley's post-NXT character and it was warmly welcomed by the San Diego crowd, who met every clubbing blow with a "Yes!" chant.

So was this a switch to the dark side for someone who it has previously been thought could only ever be an angelic force for good? Or was she simply standing up for herself in the true spirit of the classic underdog babyface?

The answer will be revealed in the weeks to come, and maybe even next week, when both women are sent to counselling.

If that session takes place in a barbershop, we will know exactly in which direction Bayley is headed.
