Verdict

Arpege D'alene appeared to have no excuses when beaten almost 19 lengths behind Definite Outcome at Chepstow. It wasn't the first time that the former has disappointed over fences and it's hard to see him turning the tables, despite 5lb better terms. WOTZIZNAME won both starts over hurdles but should really come into his own now tackling fences as he's already won a point-to-point. Harry Fry's six-year-old may be worth following this season as he handles good going but is also effective on ground with some give.
