In depth

Verdict

Winningtry made a winning start in a Wincanton bumper in April and looks capable of carving out a career over hurdles. Wylde Magic has also won a bumper while Louis' Vac Pouch should improve now going jumping. Boyhood will almost certainly improve on last month's Worcester second but we'll stick with Chepstow winner GEORDIE DES CHAMPS. He looked to have a bit in hand on his reappearance and the third has won since so Rebecca Curtis' charge may be capable of defying his penalty. Our Reward produced a couple of good runs at Sedgefield in September but may come up short here.
