Verdict

Sire Du Berlais justified market support in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham and hasn’t many miles on the clock, though has been hit with an 8lb rise and connections of Theclockisticking might fancy their chances of turning the tables on more favourable terms. Mia's Storm is 2-2 since reverting to hurdles but she’s not run since November but Aux Ptits Soins is interesting back in handicap company and David Pipe’s team appears in good form so easy Uttoxeter winner Poker Play is worth considering as he bids to give his yard back-to-back victories in this, though was beaten earlier at Exeter by Flemcara. Canyon City is a consistent sort and there is probably more to come from Nestor Park but a tentative vote goes to BURROWS PARK, who won over 3m2f at Kelso last time and is capable of better still back on soft going.
