Verdict

Mollys Garden has been running consistently well of late and is bound to have his backers but an 8lb since his last two starts leaves Charlie Longsdon's gelding with more to do and preference is for DIVERS, who gets the vote with Vicario rated the best of the rest. The selection has been running well in novice and maiden hurdles since joining Ferdy Murphy from France and he looks reasonably well treated for his first start in a handicap. Tony Carroll's Share Option disappointed on the flat at Kempton last time but ran well on his latest start over hurdles so he has to be respected but is 5lbs higher now that in that latest outing over timber. Andrew Turnell¿s Shannon Springs has been running consistently well but seems a shade high in the weights at present, while Top Ram has more to do than when landing a claiming hurdle at Chepstow last month. Don McCain's Vicario has won his last two starts, both at Ayr, over hurdles and fences and returns to timber off a fair mark just 1lb higher than for his latest success over fences. He has solid claims but marginal preference is for Divers, who is taken to give Ferdy Murphy another winner.
