Mininggold won at Beverley last week but this is much tougher. Mont Kiara recovered from a slow start to score at Newmarket last month so goes on the short-list. Evergate is still creeping up the weights but continues to run well and makes more appeal than the hat-trick seeking Foxy Forever, who has been doing her winning on faster going. Turanga Leela and Pettochside could go well at a price while Justice Lady flew down the outside to get up close home at Sandown last week. She’s worse off at the weights with both Shamshon and KASBAH (NAP), however, with the latter looking particularly unlucky as he was trapped on the rails when full of running - that shouldn’t be an excuse here.
