    Verdict

Sign Manual is an obvious starting point here having beaten subsequent Doncaster winner Lieutenant Miller on his reappearance at Newbury. The Queen's gelding has 8lb more here but may still be progressing. Alan King does well with his runners on the Flat and Kuda Huraa should be winning soon on the evidence of his head second to Beyond Conceit over 1m4f at Epsom. The longer trip here will suit but HOMERIC has always looked a stayer in the making and he'll strip fitter for a run at Kempton. He may represent a bit of value here, though Ed Dunlop also runs Gabrial's Star, fifth to Lieutenant Miller at Doncaster, and Silver Samba made a promising reappearance at Bath. Montaff didn't get much of a run at Ripon and is also capable of better.
