      Verdict

Corgi’s second to Young Rascal at Newbury last month looks better in hindsight with the latter winning the Chester Vase earlier this week. The former finished well ahead of Sharja Silk and Soto Sizzler while recent Wolverhampton runner-up Urbino was a couple of lengths in front of Returning Glory and Ryan Moore takes over the reins today. But STREAM OF STARS made a promising start when finding only one too good over 1m2f at Newmarket and the brother to smart stayer Flymetothestars gets the nod as he looks likely to improve for this extra distance. Polish is a half-brother to former stablemate Ply and a newcomer to note.
