Verdict

Another wide-open contest but CORROSIVE defied a penalty to win a novices' race over today’s trip at Yarmouth on his return to action and Hugo Palmer’s progressive colt has as good a chance as any. Al Jellaby is another novice winner having scored at Salisbury in September while Highlight Reel and Sing Out Loud also ended last season with success in novice company. Michael Corleone won a maiden over 7f at Wolverhampton in February while Corazon Espinado landed a hat-trick with a victory at Epsom and Oliver Reed ran well at Newbury recently. Bold Reason and Herdwick are others to consider on a long short-list.
