Verdict

Normandy Barriere and Moonraker were second and third behind Gunmetal at Newmarket last month and both should be thereabouts again here. Watchable has run a couple of fair races on the all-weather since returning from Dubai and is another for the short-list. Little Palaver won well at Windsor but has been known to throw in the odd stinker in between more solid efforts. MAZZINI has yet to win on Turf but was third here in September and hasn’t had much racing. Though 7lb higher than when scoring at Kempton in the autumn, he still has a bit of scope.
