held up in last, headway 2f out to chase leader, led and hung right from well over 1f out, ran on well inside final furlong, driven out
led, joined 7f out, headed over 6f out, chased leader after, renewed effort over 1f out, always held final furlong
held up in 2nd, joined leader 7f out, led over 6f out, ridden and headed well over 1f out, weakened well inside final furlong
A real puzzler for the money with all three holding claims. Highest has the form on the board having finished second in the King George V Stakes here last month. He does tend to need cover in his races and with only three in the contest, he is not one to go a short price about. Zaajer was a little disappointing last time out but John Dunlop's yard are back in form so improvement can be expected. Epicentre had to work hard to land odds-on favouritism at Goodwood last time out and will need to improve in order to win here.
