Verdict

A well contested claimer. Jonny Ebeneezer is officially top-rated but has not tackled this distance so is passed over on this occasion. Zandicular looks to have had a fair old battle with the handicapper but at these weights, Richard Hannon's charge is given the nod. Top-weight Commanding is of a classy pedigree but has been disappointing of late while Shove Ha'Penny would not be wanting any further rain.
