In depth

Verdict

ART POWER ended last year with an impressive wide-margin victory at York and made all at Newcastle on his return to action when beating a subsequent winner over five lengths. Potentially better than a handicapper, Tim Easterby’s colt should make a bold bid. Golden Dragon posted a good effort in the Cornwallis at Newmarket when last in action and makes his handicap debut along with Band Practice, a Listed winner in France and preferred to Maystar of Archie Watson’s four runners. Keep Busy is another winner at Listed level in France where he beat a below par Spartan Fighter and John Quinn’s charge also makes more appeal than Will To Win, who drops down in trip having failed in a bid for a five-timer when beaten at Lingfield. Never Dark is upped in class after scoring at Kempton and Dancin Inthestreet has a bit to prove in this grade while the returning Classy Moon is preferred to City Walk.
