No less than 30 runners line up for the day's richest race, and in the belief that a high draw will influence the outcome, we plump for Nyramba to oblige over Esteemed Lady and Silca's Gift. Nyramba, house in stall 30 on the far rail, has already proved her worth, having captured a Listed race at Salisbury three weeks ago, with the highly rated Ruby Rocket in arrears. Granted, the latter was given a bit to do, but franked the form when bouncing back at Ayr recently, and Nyramba who will act on the fast ground, looks set to run a big race. Cheveley Park entry Esteemed lady made a promising debut when third at Leicester and although having a lot more to do, is open to bags of improvement. Fellow Cheveley entry Silca's Gift already has a Listed success at Ascot to her name, having landed the Albany Stakes, and was taken off her feet in the Lowther at York. She too is set to run a big race, while it is anybody's guess as to which of Richard Hannon's six runners will fare best. Despite the large turnout, we feel that Nyramba has the class and the draw to gain a big payday under Frankie Dettori.
