In depth

Verdict

Enjoy The Moment is taken to land the spoils at the expense of Mudawin and Ogee. Jamie Osborne's charge looks to have improved significantly over the course of the season and with soft ground likely, the Queen Alexandra Stakes winner looks to have all to suit. Ebor winner, Mudawin, has struggled to follow up that success but did show some signs of a return to form with a third at Newmarket over 1m6f. He should be capable of building upon that effort. Ogee won a weak race at Goodwood and having been pulled out of other engagements on account of ground conditions, he would not want any further rain. The quirky Mirjan can never be discounted at big odds over this trip. Thewhirlingdervish looks to have returned to form in some style and has to enter calculations given Tim Easterby's stable form. Odiham appears to need better ground and Northhumberland Plate third, Tilt, is watched in the market. Enjoy The Moment is still on the upgrade and can carry top-weight to victory.
