Some unexposed sorts in Secrecy, Good Again and Liberation, but preference is for the gutsy JOHNMANDERVILLE. Karl Burke's gelding showed a good will to win when getting the better of Russian George recently at Newmarket. A 4lb rise in the weights makes life tougher in this arguably better race; however he has the scope to improve again. Secrecy has a mark of 95 for this first try in nursery company; he was impressive after a tardy start on debut but this is very different ground and he has a little to prove off top weight. My Kingdom and Liberation are recent winners and the former showed so much improvement last time and may be underestimated off this mark of 78. Layer Cake and Sweet Possession have shown glimpses of ability, whilst Good Again has been given two months off since winning at the track and looks very progressive. River Dee and Imperial Guest are more exposed and may find other improving past them and so we will stick with Johnmanderville.
