    Verdict

A Royal Ascot winner over seven furlongs last season, Demonstrate just comes out the best of these on official ratings and is given as the selection. The possible downside is his stable's lack of form but, if near his best, ought to go well. Askham has had his injury problems but should be fit following his Ascot comeback over 10 furlongs. With Reason has a lot of ability but looks quirky. Gryffindor made a very pleasing comeback from a long absence in Newbury's Spring Cup and should run to near his mark. Serieux will also be fit following a Warwick run but he needs to improve a little on his overall form. At his best, Cape Town would have a good chance, but will he be able to turn back the clock after some average efforts? Tikkun has a bit to find at the weights.
