Verdict

The Kyllachy Kid sets the standard but the feeling is that Liberty Diamond and BOX OFFICE may improve past him and we will take Box Office to be a hit. Well-supported on debut, the selection, a well-related colt ran very green but got the hang of things late on and thundered home for a never nearer second. Expected to have learnt plenty from that, he is fancied to take this before going on to better things on better ground. Liberty Diamond is a filly who improved from first to second runs when she was second recently at Haydock. That was in hock-deep ground and she must be high on anyone's shortlist today. With an official rating of 84, The Kyllachy Kid has another crack at maiden company which is no surprise. A front-runner, he is a major player. Zegna is a newcomer who must be considered if the market speaks in his favour, whilst Sir Mark Prescott's horses tend to come on a ton for their first runs so don¿t be surprised if Aestival features. A good maiden, with preference for Box Office.
