    Verdict

The beautifully-bred KHARBETATION made a very impressive debut for David O'Meara in a Thirsk maiden in July and the winner is now rated 83 after returning there to land a maiden. He's likely to kick on this season and can carry his big weight to victory. Hibou is 11lb higher than when landing a Class 4 handicap at Redcar but Fingal's Cave, who completed a double in minor company recently, did even better when a close third in a similar handicap to this at Catterick. Nicholas T ran seven times here last summer, winning a maiden in June, and gained his first handicap victory at Doncaster last month though that was a lower-grade contest and he's 8lb higher. Inaam has won five times on the all-weather but never on Turf and he's taking a step up in class as is Sophie P, whose only victory to date was in a Class 5 here in September.
