In depth

Verdict

Progress Drive was well beaten in a Grade 2 contest last time and carries a double penalty for his earlier wins at this level. A conditional’s allowance offsets Glingerside’s penalty for winning over 2m here in January and KING OF FASHION scored over track and trip in the same month. Ian Duncan’s charge beat a subsequent winner six lengths to win a maiden hurdle and should go close again on that form. Ardmillan makes his hurdling bow having won twice over fences in Ireland but Chanceiton has shown little over hurdles so far.
