All ground seemingly comes alike to Alabanza, who won over track and trip in July and scored in soft going at Hamilton last time. Sarvi also won here last month and is another to consider but County Fair may prefer a faster surface. SYNDICATE has slipped down the weights this year and improved for the step up to 1m2f when scoring in soft ground at Ffos Las. An apprentice’s allowance negates a rise in the weights and the Irish filly is also preferred to compatriots Scealai Aonair and the unexposed Duquesa Beach. Thundercloud appeared to handle the heavy going here last time but both earlier wins came over a mile.
