HOSANNA got the better of Mr Lu last time out over this course and distance when finishing just a quarter-of-a-length behind the victor, whilst Military Call is capable of better than he has shown recently with Carlitos Spirit an alternative. The selection wasn't far behind the winner last time out and is in a good position to go one better in this race and grab the win. Although the trainer is not known for his winners, he has every chance with his entry in this contest. Mr Lu needs to find some improvement based on that most recent effort to contend but he has won here over this trip already this year and remains firmly in calculations if delivering an improved run today. Military Call hasn't looked like winning of late but runs off a realistic mark today and could challenge. Carlitos Spirit is perhaps harshly weighted in this contest so we avoid him here. However our preference is for Hosanna.
