Verdict

Grams And Ounces was runner-up when trying this trip for the first time at Haydock, whilst Valantino Oyster comes here after winning at Redcar but it could be a battle between the two stepped-up in trip, Miereveld and MUSIC FESTIVAL. The selection has course experience and although disappointing in three maiden starts, moving to Handicap company for the first time and stepped-up in trip we take a tentative each-way look. Sir Mark Prescott often finds the right mark for his handicap contenders and Miereveld could do better with an increased trip and debuting on the turf. Grams and Ounces was much improved last time out with a second and could put in a challenge. Valantino Oyster comes here after a win but this was a very narrow victory and he will need to find more to challenge in this handicap. We gingerly take a risk with Music Festival.
