Verdict

Gold Opera has managed to win five times over fences though this will be his first-ever start over a trip this far and he hasn't run since March. Catamaran Du Soleil attracted some support in a Market Rasen Listed contest in September but never really got serious. He was a bit disappointing when beaten at Fakenham next time but won't get many better opportunities. Grandads Horse had an enviable strike-rate of 12-43 for previous connections and Jennie Candlish will get the best out of him though an absence since the summer of last year is a concern. No No Mac was well beaten in testing ground here earlier this month but Silver Tassie won well here in March and will be better for last month's return to action. KNOCKANRAWLEY (NAP) has travelled a long way for this and the journey can pay off. Kim Bailey's charge competed at a higher level last season with a close second in the Eider at Newcastle the highlight, form that would be good enough here.
