In depth

Verdict

Presenter, Lord Baskerville and Baby Barry are the three who can dominate this seven furlong handicap, and Baby Barry has the best form credentials in a slightly weak affair. Presenter ran well to be a close third on soft ground over a mile at Leicester last time and that was an improvement on his three previous efforts this season. Ground conditions are in his favour but he may find others quicker and this shorter distance is not sure to suit. Lord Baskerville was third in a maiden handicap over the minimum trip last time and is passed over, with the extra two furlongs posing a question and the quality of that form open to doubt. Baby Barry is the selection. He made a race of it against Tim Easterby¿s Flash Ram at Carlisle three days ago, and will find this an easier task. Baby Barry is the selection.
