Verdict

Gerry The Glover has gone close the last twice as he bids to end a long losing run while Hernandoshideaway had been threatening to score before well beaten when third at Pontefract last week. LUCENT DREAM won at Carlisle before just missing out over course and distance last time. He finished ahead of Konig Dax with Spes Nostra well behind on that occasion and John McConnell’s charge looks sure to be in the firing-line once again.
