Verdict

Richard Fahey has won the last two renewals and makes a determined bid today with three runners. Paul Hanagan rides Lexington Bay, but his stablemates make more appeal, as High Office went close over C&D in June and BRIDLE BELLE landed a higher grade race than this at Ripon during the summer. Lee Topliss' claim allows her to race off only a 1lb higher mark here and she gets the vote. Bollin Greta keeps rising in the weights without winning though she looks sure to be thereabouts once again, but Sharp Relief will need a big step forward in this company having won a couple of low grade handicaps last month. Chookie Hamilton looks best of the rest.
