In depth

Verdict

OUR CHARLIE BROWN finished a close-up fourth in a higher grade handicap at Carlisle recently and Tim Easterby’s charge looks to have strong claims on that form with an apprentice’s allowance further helping his cause. Saint Equiano also ran well for fourth here a fortnight ago when finishing in front of Proud Archi and Alemaratalyoum while Florencio won over today’s trip on the all-weather before going close again at Carlisle. Mudawwan remains unexposed on only his second start for James Bethell and Sultan Baybars could bounce back at any time as he slips further down the weights.
