In depth

Verdict

Eric The Grey, Layline and St Ignatius are all recent winners over 1m4f with something to prove over today's trip. The latter beat A SOUTHSIDE BOY at Hamilton last month but Jim Goldie's charge had gone close over course and distance before that and is fancied to turn the tables in this. Calculated Risk is 7lb higher than when scoring on the Flat last term but has improved over hurdles since then while Lochiel has a shout back over today's trip having found the 2m at Musselburgh too far last time.
