In depth

Verdict

Capitana gets the vote here with Tessanoora and Diamond Sal rating the main dangers. The selection won with a little in hand last time out when beating Sabeur and although rising in the weights looks progressive and under conditions that suit is taken to score. Tessanoora rates the main danger as she won well last time out when beating Barton Flower however she was doing all her best work at the finish on a softer surface there and this faster ground may just find her out so she is passed over for that reason. Diamond Sal would be a danger to all on her best form but ran as if in the handicappers grip when second behind OHso Magic last time. However this faster ground may bring about some improvement. Of the remainder Golden Odyssey could go well at a price if fit after a 372 day absence but for the winner we are happy to return to Capitana.
