In depth

Verdict

It was soft ground when Heir of Excitement won here a fortnight ago but he's penalised for that success which hands the advantage to WIGAN WARRIOR. The latter was beaten only a nose in testing going at Haydock recently and David Brown’s colt also receives weight from Permian and Proud Archi, who made winning debuts at Kempton and Beverley respectively. Alfie's Angel and Temerity step up in trip and this looks a tough start for the newcomer Midge Hall.
