Verdict

Beau Phil is proving hard to win with but does act around this sharp track and is sure to prove competitive once for the champion trainer. Westerly Breeze defied an absence of a year to fill the minor placing at Worcester and should be in the mix if not subject to the 'bounce' factor. Trip and ground are fine for him but both of the aforementioned must give 7lb to serial runner-up PRINCESS ROANIA (NAP). The Bowen mare has come up against useful sorts in her four hurdling outings in the context of this race, such as Only For Love and Hassle, and is afforded another chance, especially as she's also shown good form on her last two starts on the Flat, including a decisive success at Bath. Uber Alles and Verygoodverygood are next best.
