    Verdict

None of these have raced with cut in the ground, but if RED ART, who ran better than the bare result suggests at Salisbury, handles the surface he looks likely to enhance Barry Hills' excellent strike rate with his two-year-old runners at this track. Latte didn't show any really progress on the Polytrack last time, but Flying Pickets may do better in first-time blinkers. Rent Free was unfancied for his debut at Thirsk but finished a respectable fifth and makes more appeal than the newcomer Al Jemailiya, who looks nothing special on breeding.
