HAIL CAESAR was never a star of the Ballydoyle operation but did manage to land a 1m1f event at Gowran a year ago. He may just have needed the run at Bellewstown early this month, his first since February, and could be a nice type for hurdling. Esporao had shown ability in bumpers before winning one at Perth and this superbly-bred gelding is another who could do well at this game. Black Rock Lake appeared to enjoy the step-up to 2m2f at Sligo and may find a couple of these too speedy while Zahroun could be the pick of the newcomers as he performed reasonably well in three starts on the flat last year.
