Verdict

With not much to choose between the field in this opener, we side with Marco Botti's option in the race, ACCLAMAZING, ahead of Elkmait who was third last time out and Princess Izzy who has an interesting jockey booking. The selection is a half-brother to a winner at 2 over today's sort of trip and Marco Botti has a perfect record this year with juveniles at the course but admittedly that is only from one runner. He can see off the likes of Clive Brittain's Elkmait. The danger to our pick has every chance if remaining calmer before the start than her last two efforts where she has reared in the stalls and hasn't settled. With the experience potentially helping her cause she is a threat. Princess Izzy was ten lengths behind the winner at Pontefract last time out but Kieren Fallon retains the ride and is respected. Acclamazing gets our tentative vote.
