        Verdict

Some very interesting jockey bookings in this race with Japanese sensation Kosei Miura on board Mudhish, taking on his idol Frankie Dettori who rides CARDINAL whilst Kieren Fallon will attempt to bring out the best in Frequency. Robert Cowell trains Cardinal for this race and after a respectable run on the turf at Lingfield, when just finding Prime Circle the one too good, runs off a competitive mark and can score today. The young Japanese prodigy will be looking to get the better of the man he looks up to most but with Mudhish he doesn't have the best of opportunities to shine. Frequency put in a solid enough effort on handicap debut last time out at Newbury and against this opposition will be a big threat. However in a race with little solid form to go on, we side with Cardinal who has been improving on the all-weather and turf of late and can lose that maiden tag.
