Chica Buena was a 50/1 chance when runner-up to Chief Justice at Listowel with Lever Du Soleil four lengths back in third and Elusive Don a long way behind in fifth. The winner had plenty in hand and his stable has three entries making their hurdling debuts here. FLAT TO THE MAX started favourite for his only run on the Flat on heavy going at Navan in April and obliged in impressive fashion. He was identified as a potentially useful hurdler and can make a successful start. His stable companion Monkeylou has won two of his six starts on the level, including his latest at Killarney last month, while another from the yard, Caldbeck, has shown a bit of potential on the Flat. Definite Doyenne easily won a Cork handicap on heavy going in March so today's conditions will suit.
