In depth

Verdict

DAGGERS BOND is certain to attract support after scoring comfortably at Cork on Friday when the very fast ground proved ideal. He has a 6lbs penalty to carry here but won nicely and can follow up before the handicapper has his say. Riverscape has been running well but doesn't win often enough and has gone up another pound after finishing fourth at Sligo last time. Barry Geraghty has ridden Stretch The Truth to his only success and takes the ride again on Tom Taaffe's charge who made a promising return to action behind Thepartysover at Limerick when Split Ear was behind. Down The Dale's only victory came over this C&D in September but like Cnoc Rua looks a few pounds high in the weights.
