Big Burrrows, In Vino, Jimmy The Saint and Broken Beau set a reasonable standard for the others to aim at. We'll nail our colours to the mast of Broken Beau. It took a while for the penny to drop with the selection on debut at Warwick but once it did he stayed on to some purpose. The green shoots of recovery have been in evidence following a quiet spell for the yard and he should be all the better for his initial experience. That's also likely to be the case with Big Burrows and there was a lot to like about his effort at Ayr and he looks sure to go close if ready to do himself justice after a short break. Jimmy The Saint also showed up well at Kelso and it will be interesting to see how he fares in the market in relation to his stablemates. A big run from King Edmund at Newbury on Saturday would boost the claims of In Vino who stepped up on the form of his debut to chase that one home last time. Support for Key Decision should be taken seriously and Our Brian is well worth a second look but Broken Beau gets our vote.
