In depth

Verdict

Neither of the Donald McCain pair, Money Tree or Royal Daffodil, showed much on their respective debuts but Tarn Hows' C&D second in November wasn't a bad start and he should know more today. Next Man In's two runs so far have been in better company while Koultas King only found one too good over 1m6f at Ayr last month. Lack of experience is always a worry for newcomers but ARCTIC ACTRESS is a daughter of leading NH sire King's Theatre and closely related to a number of decent jumpers. Representing a stable that does well in this type of contest, the four-year-old should be hard to beat with her weight-for-age allowance.
