Verdict

The bumper finale is a bit of a pin sticker given that a third of the field are seeing a track for the first time, but we'll side with experience and give a tentative nod in the direction of Flutter Bye, in preference to Tara Two Hills and Zolotaya. The selection, placed last time out in a mares only contest, looks the progressive sort; she may not want too strong a gallop though, and be settled just off the frontrunners. Tara Two Hills romped home on debut in a Worcester bumper back in July at 33 to 1. Don't expect anything like that price today, but she does look as though she's got more success to come. Zolotaya is the most interesting looking of the debutantes; the siblings of the David Pipe runner have been successful at this sort of level, and any market support should be noted. A minimum stakes race for us this, but we just favour the claims of Flutter Bye.
