In depth

Verdict

Goldstar Dancer gets the nod over Dramatic Review in the finale, with Compton Quay and Kerry's Blade worth a mention. The ex-Irish Goldstar Dancer belied his big odds when giving the more fancied Dan's Heir a fright at Market Rasen last time, and with a bit of improvement should play a leading role. A full brother to Mamore Gap, he could easily leave his maiden Flat form behind. Dramatic Review is one of three Pat Haslam runners here, and although his debut third at Stratford was nothing special, he can at least boast experience over his two stablemates. Compton Quay has five lengths to find with him and appears held, while of his two team mates, Kerry's Blade has the assistance of Tony McCoy so is worth noting in the market. For the winner though we return to Goldstar Dancer.
