    Verdict

Moidore had been consistent before landing a Market Rasen handicap at this level but a 5lb rise makes this tougher. Bruce Almighty landed a novices' handicap over 2m3f at Carlisle but had been well beaten over this trip on his previous start and wouldn't want more rain. Paddy's Field won a novices' race at Market Rasen in January and ran well for a long way in a Grade 3 at Sandown next time though this is an unknown trip. WINTERED WELL completed a quick double at around this trip last month and was stepping up in grade when runner-up at Carlisle. He can return to winning ways though heavy ground would aid the cause of Obistar, who was having only his second run in a year when runner-up at Ffos Las.
