In depth

Verdict

These Sunday bonus race are usually competitive but there are exceptions. NIGHT OF PASSION is hard to oppose as he never looked in danger of defeat at Plumpton last Monday. He has a penalty to carry but is still likely to be a warm favourite. Bob Keown probably has a bit more scope than most but Artic Night lost the plot when favourite at Huntingdon last month and Landenstown Star has had plenty of chances this year. Genstone Trail showed little on his comeback but Golden Calf may do better now tackling handicaps and The Last Bridge has popped up in this grade in the past.
