Verdict

Icannshift and Our Destiny are no strangers to the winners enclosure and should go well, but preference is for Jake Black. John Quinn is striking while the iron is hot with Jake Black. This four-year-old is in the form of his life and was a facile winner on heavy ground at Pontefract last week, another bold showing is expected. Icannshift had the race in safekeeping entering the final furlong when beating Dissident at Leicester last month and this confirmed the revival in his fortunes that he begun with a sound effort at Folkestone four days earlier. Our Destiny was a head runner up to Absolute Utopia in a course and distance seller last time and is weighted to go close again. Diamond Orchid has been knocking on the door recently and is another to consider, but as long as the ground doesn't dry up too much Jake Black is a confident choice.
