      Verdict

The most difficult race on the card and we will take a chance on B A Highflyer, with Alafzar and Welsh Wind put forward as the major threats. Mick Channon's four-year-old has run with credit on the all-weather recently but is a much better performer on the turf as he showed when beating Stokesies Wish at Brighton last October. That was over the six furlong trip but he has run well over longer in the past and may just last home. Alafzar returns to the track after a very successful winter campaign at Lingfield and looks very well treated on his return to the turf. welsh Wind also hit winning form on the all-weather and put in some decent efforts last season in similar company to today's. Amnesty is another to check out having been revitalised with a move to the Gary Moore yard, however B A Highflyer should be spot on for this following his recent Southwell effort and is taken to oblige.
