Spiritual Man, a winner over 1m2f on Polytrack at Lingfield, was staying on over an extended 1m3f on fast going there last time and will have no problems with this trip having raced over hurdles. Earthly hasn't won since May of last year and is 13lb lower as a consequence but the lightly-raced NORDENFELT showed his first sign of ability when tackling 2m2f at Chepstow. Sue Gardner's charge wouldn't need to do much more to land this very moderate handicap so gets the nod. Hallingham won over shorter here last summer and though badly out of form recently is now on his lowest ever mark. Eight-times winner Xinbama wouldn't be travelling from County Meath without hope and he will have no problems with the trip.
