Verdict

Dotties Dilema won over course and distance in November and scrambled home at Cartmel 11 days ago. He has to go on the short-list but doesn’t always find much off the bridle. MR MAFIA beat the top weight on worse terms over hurdles at Worcester in June. He’s been less prolific over fences but is potentially well treated so gets the nod. Not For You won at Killarney in July and stays this longer trip while Hoke Colburn was second at Worcester on his first run for new connections and finished ahead of Master Sunrise. The lightly-raced Butlergrove King may be best of the rest.
